Fashion illustrations/collages
These are a few fashion illustrations/collages that I had to create for art college. We had to manipulate images of things we instinctively were drawn to so that we could begin to form an idea about what sort of designers we are. We also had to draw onto images we took of 3d forms made to fit the body of which we made the day before.
First day of Textiles specialism
Hey blog people, these are a few experiments into pattern and texture for the textile specialism at my art college, CCW( Camberwell, Chelsea, Wimbledon). I think these experiments really show my love of colour, especially bright acidic sorts. I really enjoyed doing these experiments!

Swan lake
This is my A-level exam dress minus a few butterflies which have fallen off because I did not attach them efficiently as the exam had a time limit. Modeled by Miss Cleo Wilson at Black Pond.

Camberwell: Design pathway
These are a few experiments from the design pathway. I developed my work into fashion/costume of which evolved from the texture of the inside of a flower I saw.
Camberwell, Wood grain hands
This is a selection of my experiments. I thought the wood grain worked particually well with creases in the skin and fingerprints. The link between identity of objects ,wood grain being unique to each tree and skin creases being unique to each hand, made the drawing all the more sucessfull.

keeping you updated
So ive now finished college and am no longer forced to produce art work after art work for my a-levels. I'm really enjoying the freedom and the break from stress. Although being me I have realised ive actually not stopped producing little bits of art work here and there. First there was my arts award (not technically an a level but an extra qualification. I produced these pictures of my sister for a magazine i produced...
and then there was my little chiffon top I made from left over fabric. Not the most beautifully seamed/produced garment but I had nothing to do and this filled the bordem and produced a few scarred finger tips in my eager rush to finish...
then there was my interior designing, I decided to have my whole family (the use of 'whole' makes my family seem huge, there's only 5 of us) down in my shed for a meal. I tend to get a bit carried away with the decor and probually spent more time on it than the food but it needed it as my room looked as though a bomb had dropped before i set to work...
I think thats about it but i'll keep you posted if anything else pops into my brain.
